PFDSim 1.6.3 · PUBLIC BETA

Build the process. Define the logic. Test the behaviour.

A browser-based PFD logic simulator for visually testing process behaviour and preparing structured handover information for further instrumentation and control (I&C) design.

What is it

A test bench for process logic

The goal is not only to test process behaviour, sequences and interlocks visually, but also to generate structured handover information that instrumentation and control engineers can use as input for further design.

Four steps

From diagram to handover

01

Build

Tanks, pumps, valves, instruments and process connections.

02

Define logic

Sequences, permissives, interlocks and emergency conditions.

03

Simulate

Run processes, inject faults, review alarms and the event log.

04

Handover

Export structured information for further I&C engineering.

Help improve it

What did you experience?

Four short questions. Shared responses will be reviewed regularly to help guide the roadmap and set development priorities.

No name or email required. When you send feedback, your answers, app version and language are saved in a private Google spreadsheet for the developer. Please do not include confidential project information.

Test it, but verify it

PFDSim is under active development and is currently provided free of charge for testing and evaluation. It will remain free to use after Public Beta.

It is a conceptual process-logic and engineering coordination tool. It does not replace detailed engineering, PLC/SIS validation or professional engineering review.

Always verify generated results and exported information before use. Responsibility for the final design and its verification remains with the user.

Support

If it helps, you can help build what comes next

PFDSim is free to use during and after Public Beta. Support can help fund hosting and future engineering modules.
